Do Different Things Differently.
Inspirational keynote experiences crafted to drive the creative thinking that unlocks breakthrough ideas.
Watch Speaking ReelEveryone wants to be
Great
at what they do.

So naturally, we turn to "the greats” to learn how.
We adopt their tools
we memorize their best practices
and follow their exampleAnd it makes sense: when we fear falling behind,
imitation feels like the safest move.
But it’s also
A Race To
The Middle.
If we’re all taking our cues from each other, how do we make room for the genuinely different thinking that expands our understanding of what's possible?

Getting better matters.
The trouble is, we can improve for years without ever evolving.
Evolution happens
when we stop doing the same things better and start Doing Different Things Differently.
So...
How do we actually think differently?

How do we spot the opportunities for different thinking that slip past our attention every day?

How do we generate ideas that aren’t just unconventional, but actually work?

How do we do it with the limited time, resources, and energy we have?

Hi
I'm Tucker.
I'm an artist and a keynote speaker.
I spent around a decade studying and working at Stanford and Google, surrounded by people building things that hadn’t existed before. I was also writing poetry, trying to emulate “the greats” - because that’s how I thought poems were supposed to be written.
But then, I started questioning the "supposed to" part. I wondered:
What if poems weren’t “just” words on a page...
...but immersive and interactive experiences?
That question took my art to unexpected places. First, it was a poem you had to destroy to read. Then, it was poems on sidewalks that only appeared when it rained.
And soon, it wasn’t just poems.

It was bringing 20 strangers to an airport and designing an impromptu trip for one of them.

It was turning the elevators of the biggest hotel lobby in the world into a musical instrument.

It was putting up a billboard for a fake chatbot that 15,000 people volunteered to staff.
Questioning what art could be led me to projects I didn’t realize were possible, and reach I didn’t ever expect to have.
And I learned something along the way:
All creative change, from the innovations that have defined the century to the small shifts in the way we show up every day, go through five stages.
And when we know how to use them, we can create change nobody realized was possible.
